April 5, 2025 Tionól Registration Information

BRIMS is pleased to be able to host Jerry O’Sullivan and Isaac Alderson as the principal instructors for our one-day Tionol April 5, 2025. This will be a day of instruction for Uilleann Pipers of all ability levels. We will have additional instructors including: Brandon Davis, Conor Freeland, Stewart Pittman, Janis Deane, and Randy Seelye. The additional instructors have allowed us to expand our program. Pipers will be striated into groups based on their ability levels. The event will culminate in an evening concert featuring: Jerry O’Sullivan, Isaac Alderson, and some special guests.

New This Year:

• Accepting more Beginner Piper Registrations - but still keeping student-to-instructor ratio low.

• Expanded Beginner Program – to better serve our Beginners, we will be accepting more beginner registrations. After the Opening Beginner Session, our instructors will divide the group into two groups of pipers. One group will be for pipers who are just beginning, and the other group will be pipers who are making good progress- but are not yet at the Intermediate Level. Our instructors will help to make sure we get everyone in the group that is the best fit.

• Expanded Electives - All Pipers will have an opportunity to select an elective in the afternoon this year. See below

• Late Night Pub Session - Saturday Night session after the concert at a local pub for those living closer.

• Raffle Tickets – BRIMS will be raffling some awesome donated items. Tickets will be sold at Check-in. The drawings will be held at the evening Concert.

All participants must have their own pipes. Intermediate and Advanced pipers should work to ensure their entire set is in acceptable playing condition. Beginners will be assisted - as able - on-site - to address issues as is possible.
